Lets face it, the majority of us Irish gals are “blessed” with “lovely” pale skin tones! I’m sure everyone is with me when I say I do love to enhance that natural “white” glow on a weekly basis. I simply don’t feel human or good if I don’t get a bit of tan on! St. Tropez mousse and of course Cocoa Brown self tanning mousse would rank high on my list of favourite tans but I like to change products from time to time and was ready for a new tan.
Enter Tan Organic! After reading fantastic reviews of Tan Organic’s new self tanning oil recently, I just had to try it out for myself and see what all the fuss was about! Not only is it eco certified and the worlds first tanning oil, it is all natural with a gorgeous blend of oils including Borage seed oil, Argan oil and Orange peel oil. I have to say it is simply amazing! It gives a gorgeous natural glow to your skin and the oils leave your skin feeling so nourished and healthy unlike other tans that dry out the skin. Like most tans, it takes 6-8 hours (overnight) to develop so apply in the evening and dress lightly after to ensure the oils absorb properly. The advice given is to wipe your palms with a baby/handy wipe afterwards but also be sure to scrub lightly around your cuticles and nails to avoid dodgy staining (ahem!) 😀 You may need to top up again the next evening if you require a deeper tan but it is so so natural, you wont be disappointed. And don’t forget to keep moisturising every day to keep your skin soft and healthy looking! I love Garnier oil beauty lotion.
The tanning oil retails at €24.99 and is available in most pharmacies and Boots – the bottle is small so don’t be shocked when you see it but you only need to use a small amount so it does last. Mine has lasted about 4 weeks already which is fantastic! I also use Cocoa Brown’s “Tough Stuff” scrub once a week to keep it looking good and even when it needs to be topped up. It’s hard work being a gal with Irish skin!!
